There are hundreds of different breeds of "Equus Caballus" throughout the world. The ability to adapt has allowed horses to survive many ordeals throughout time and to develop distinctive characteristics among breeds. Some are able to live in the hot desert sun and others in the highest, coldest steppes. We have bred them to retain those qualities most useful to our needs. In the end, we admire them for their beauty, their finesse, and their speed, strength and stamina. Humans may have conquered the world, but not without the aid and sacrifice of the loyal horse.
